Kayla Locklear, “Interactivity in Welcome to Sanditon”
Stimulus and Response: the Domino app, when used, works on request. This app allows the people to feel like they are in control of what is being done. Another thing that is in “Welcome to Sanditon,” would be the hyperlinks that are provided. These links provide an easy way to navigate from page to page or item to item. Just a simple click and they are somewhere else. All throughout the app, there are different noises and hints to allow the reader to know what is going on.
Navigation: Domino makes navigation so easy to do. Just like I mentioned in stimulus and response, there are hyperlinks provided to get you to where you need to go, voice response, also, it is connected with other social media so that way you are always connected. You have everything right at your fingertips.
Communication: the user is able to communicate by posting videos of them acting as the characters from Sanditon. Video chat is a good way to communicate because you actually get to see the person and you can look at their body language and emotions. For the viewer’s, viewing the video, they can also feel the emotions and passion of the characters. It would feel like the viewers were actually there with the actors.
Last but not least, exchange of information. This allows the viewers to communicate with each other as well as, communicating with the cast. Allowing the viewers to voice their opinion makes them feel important and also gives the writer different idea tips.
